In 2010, on the anniversary of the death of actor and pilot Steve Mc Queen, Persol reissued 10,000 copies of his favorite frame the "714SM" renamed "Steve Mc Queen" in his honor. Of course, this pair of sunglasses with blue lenses, foldable(!) moreover, was a real success worldwide despite its price.

It must be said that it is not just a very limited edition but a jewel whose lenses are handmade from high-quality crystal. Persol also published a beautiful video presenting the manufacturing process. 2 years later, the stocks are almost depleted. You will no longer find opticians able to offer it in store.
